Cairns. The Centre
is located in the heart of the JCU campus, which lies
in the foothills of the rainforest near Cairns
northern beaches. ELC students can access the full range
of services offered by the university as well the many
attractions which bring in international visitors to
this main gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and rainforest.
You can find everything from white-water rafting and
hot air ballooning to rainforest boardwalks and spectacular
diving. ELC students can live in modern student accommodation
next door to the campus.
Townsville. The
ELC is located on JCUs tropical bushland campus
which is home to a rich range of native Australian wildlife.
With almost 1000 students living on campus, ELC students
can access includes 24-hour computer centres and high-speed
internet access, outdoor pool, tennis and squash courts,
gymnasium, shops, cafes and the Student Club. Close
to the Ross River, there are bike tracks and river walks.
Townsville is a laid back coastal town in tropical North
Queensland, with great diving and water sports, only
a short ferry ride away from Magnetic Island, and the
Gateway to Queenslands vast Outback.
